How can you play a game online with such a slow internet connection?
I have a very average internet provider, and while it was downloading, I had to stand up, take out LBP, walk to my game shelf, pick Resistance 2, walk back to PS3, insert Resistance. Ok, I took my time, but basically it took just over a minute. Then, I had to install the firmware, which took just a little bit longer. And I was ready to play.
I can just imagine you trying to download a HD movie unc...
First, who use Yahoo as a search engine!
Two, people will search for PS3 and "Playstation 3", so I would like to see the results for both added up. On the other side, everybody search only for Wii, and Xbox 360.

Personnally, I would rather have to fight a little bit with a small screw, get twice to four times the capacity of a 360 drive and buy an extra game or two with the extra money. I guess he didn't want to ask his dad to do it for him!
No need for a PC or PS3, I always use my PVR... The front usb port is always on, even if the PVR is off.

It doesn't matter that much, since all games look pretty much the same no matter what and in the end, if you own both consoles, you may simply pick the game for the console with the highest reliability record. That way, you'll still be able to play your game in 5 years from now, on the same console you bought on day 1... ...

I have a friend who had to return his launch 360 3 times (2XRRoD and 1Xcannot read disk). He is all happy because the last one happen only a few months ago, so he claims that he has another 3 years warranty.

All they do is copy and paste some PS3 news, and every now and then, Henning or Gary will post something really negative about the PS3 so they get more hits and get more publicity income.
Check any blog articles they write. They don't like the PS3. They like the money they get from getting hits on their blog.
Everybody should get over it. All 3 consoles sold over 50 millions boxes all together. There's enough great games on all 3 of them to keep all the gamers happy for years to come. All 3 are there to stay.
Those articles are totally stupid and lame. Best of all, the guy is totally negative, and finish HIS article with: "any more negative press is a danger to them." Gotta love good press like that!
But overall, this is a great list.

Why is it that every Wipeout HD picture is always bad. This game rocks, graphic wise, but on the web, most pictures always look bad.
But this gen, I would definitively include Buzz and Little Big Planet. Anybody can play those games and have fun.
Not sure I could give anybody a controller and tell them to play Halo though. Sure it's not truly "obtuse control schemes" as he said, but wow, I never saw anybody being able to run and aim at the same time for at least an hour or two. Maybe the latest End Wars would do it, since you can use voice recognition...

Still, it's impressive that the Wii, managed to beat the 360 in it's own territory.
Will be fun to look at this chart, in 6 to 12 months and see if the recession had any effect.
Both games are close (or over) to 1 million worldwide which is truly not bad at all. But, basically, in the U.S., you have to be a Shooter, Guitar Hero, or Madden if you want to make the top 50 list, unless you're a Wii game...
